Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LawnchLab does with information collected through https://lawnchlab.com.
1. Who is responsible
LawnchLab decides how and why the information described here is used. You can reach us at contact@lawnchlab.com.
2. What we collect
From the inquiry form: your name, and — if you choose to fill them in — your company, email address, phone number, company website, project type, and the message you write. Name, email and message are required; the rest are optional.
Automatically: the network address the submission came from, held briefly in memory to limit how often the form can be submitted. It is not written to a database and does not survive a restart of the server.
Your browser also sends standard request information to our hosting provider as part of loading any web page.
3. Why we use it
To read your inquiry and reply to it, and to have the follow-up conversation about the work you are asking about. That is the only purpose.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries addressed to us, and, where you ask us to quote or begin work, on taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who else sees it
Brevo, our email provider, delivers the inquiry to our inbox and may store your contact details in our contact list so we can keep the conversation in one place. Brevo processes the data on our instructions.
Our hosting provider serves the site and handles the request that carries your submission to us.
Beyond that, we share your information only where the law requires it. No other third party receives it.
5. Marketing
Replying to your inquiry is not marketing, and answering the form does not subscribe you to anything. If we ever want to send you something other than a reply, we will ask first, and any such message will carry a one-click unsubscribe.
6. How long we keep it
We keep an inquiry for as long as the conversation it belongs to is live, and longer where it forms part of a signed engagement or where we are required to keep records. When neither applies any more, we delete it.
Ask us to delete your inquiry and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
7. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or session-recording scripts.
Fonts are served from our own domain rather than fetched from a third party, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to us and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, submissions travel encrypted, and the API key used to send mail is held as a server-side secret that is never exposed to your browser.
No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential material through the form.
10. Children
This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
12. Contact
Questions, or a request about your data, go to contact@lawnchlab.com.
